Fitness Guide

The Fitness Guide will develop the aerobic and anaerobic fitness necessary to compete at a high level for 90 minutes of a soccer game. A soccer field can be as large as 120X80 yards; this requires a very strong fitness base. This book covers Stages 9-10 of the 10 Stage Progressional Training Program.
The 10 Stage Progressional Training Program was created by the author, Matt Avellino, a professional soccer player for Sevilla F.C. PR and the Wilmington Hammerheads. This training program took him from a young kid in Queens who loved soccer to a young adult traveling the world doing what he loves to do.
Players, parents, and coaches will have the tools to develop speed, agility, quickness, power, and strength to prepare themselves or their teams to outwork the opponent from reading the Fitness Guide.
The Fitness Guide includes descriptions, diagrams, and videos of drills and techniques that will improve a player's endurance, speed, agility, strength, power and quickness.
