Team Tactical Guide
The Team Tactical Guide will increase the soccer IQ's of players, parents, and coaches. 90% of soccer is played above the shoulders (with the mind) and that is directly addressed in this book. It covers Stages 6-8 of the 10 Stage Progressional Training Program.
The 10 Stage Progressional Training Program was created by the author, Matt Avellino, a professional soccer player for Sevilla F.C. PR and the Wilmington Hammerheads. This training program took him from a young kid in Queens who loved soccer to a young adult traveling the world doing what he loves to do.
The drills and techniques of the Team Tactical Guide will force players to think quickly and make the right decisions in regards to possession play, combination play, defending, finishing, and set pieces. It will turn your group of 11 players into 1 cohesive unit.
The Team Tactical Guide includes descriptions, diagrams, and videos of drills and techniques that will improve a player's decision making, movement off the ball, speed of play, defending, finishing, and understanding of set plays. This will all contribute to great ability in possession and combination play.
